SPIRIT NII SHINAN

Shipibo Onanya Centre

A gift from the Peruvian Amazon

SPIRIT NII SHINAN means “knowledge from the jungle” in the Shipibo language. Founded by Luis Marquez Pinedo, a respected figure who combines academia and traditional healing practices, this center exists to preserve the endangered cultural heritage of the Shipibo people.

By blending modern insight with centuries-old wisdom, SPIRIT NII SHINAN aims to protect their language, support a future museum and school, and shine a spotlight on the remarkable worldview rooted in the Peruvian Amazon.

Help us support the families behind the patterns

The Ucayali region is facing severe floods, affecting the daily lives of the very people we work with.

Luis and his family are not asking for help, they are working hard to provide through their craft. Every product you purchase directly supports them.

If you feel called to give more, your donation through the button below will be received with care and gratitude. We thank you deeply.
